At Fasttrack-Languages, we believe a child’s mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a garden to be cultivated. Every child already possesses an extraordinary blueprint for growth. Our role is to provide the prepared environment where their academic skills and emotional readiness flourish together.
Our First Step: Observation & Readiness
We begin with an individualized assessment to observe your child’s learning style, academic level, and emotional readiness. This allows us to understand how they process information and handle challenges, ensuring we meet them exactly where they are.
Reading, Writing, & Creative Expression (Ages 3–13)
Inspired by the insights of Maria Montessori and Jean Piaget, we use a Communicative Approach to bridge the gap between feelings and words. We don’t just teach reading; we cultivate confident communicators through:
- Phonics & Fluency: Building the sound-letter foundation and sight-word recognition.
- Comprehension: Using relatable context to ensure your child deeply understands the “why” behind the story.
- Grammar in Action: Introducing the mechanics of language naturally, so children understand how words work together to create meaning.
- Composition & Writing: Guiding your child from basic sentences to original storytelling and formal writing, connecting their personal experiences to the page.
Math & Logic: The Singapore Math Approach
- Children are born with a “mathematical mind” that seeks order. Following the Singapore Mathmethod, we guide your child through a natural progression from Concrete discovery to Abstract mastery:
Tactile Foundations: We use hands-on Montessori materials to make math visible and touchable.
The Transition: Every child uses a dedicated notebook to document their journey. Once they demonstrate the confidence and readiness to move beyond tactile objects, we introduce specialized workbooks to solidify abstract thinking.

The Full Circle of Fluency: Listen, Speak, Read & Write
While many programs stop at basic conversation, we believe true fluency requires the Full Circle of Communication. At Fasttrack, we balance every session to ensure your child isn’t just hearing a language—they are mastering it.
- Dynamic Listening & Speaking: Every class starts with 100% immersion. Through interactive games, baking, gym, story telling, sequencing cards and audio stories, students learn to hear the rhythm and vocabulary of the language and speak with confidence and correct pronunciation.
- The Literacy Bridge: As they become comfortable speaking, we introduce Reading and Writing. This is the “secret sauce” that stabilizes their vocabulary.
- Cultural Independence: By adding literacy to their speaking skills, children gain the independence to explore books and heritage on their own. They move from “repeating words” to “owning the language.”
- Verbal Longevity: Speaking becomes a passive skill if it’s not practiced but the ability to read and write locks the language into their long-term memory, ensuring they stay verbal for life.

PICK UP WITH CARE
We pick up from your child’s school between closing – 3:30pm to any of our after school programs.
We transport your child:
- By foot in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
- By car in the Winter and rainy conditions.
From school closing to 3:30pm your child will be either having a snack (child must bring his own snack, no nuts allowed) if he needs to or working on sensorial activities until the class starts.
Ages 3 to 11 years old.
Schools: Scandi School, Brunswick School, OLC and P.S. 3 (111 Bright Street) only.
Our two hour after school classes start at 3:45pm and end at 5:45pm
Requirements to be part of the pick up program:
- Your child must be enrolled in any of our after school classes starting at 3:45pm.
- If the school your child attends requires a list of designated people to pick up the kids, please make sure the school has been notified ahead about our staff picking them up to avoid delays as our staff needs to make sure all kids have been picked up at the proper time.
- Any extra time after the child’s last class ends will have a cost of $10 for every 10 minutes. The child must be picked up by 5:45 pm the latest.
